Yes, you can transfer a coupon from the original order to an exchanged order! When you go to initiate an exchange, simply process the transaction as a normal exchange.
When you get to the end of the exchange, you should see a button below the coupon field to transfer the coupon from the original order into the exchange order.
Just click the green 'Transfer' button and the coupon used in the previous order will transfer over to the new order! Once you've transferred the coupon, finish out the transaction like a typical exchange.
