ThunderTix currently has a 10 minute time period for a customer to complete the order once they've gotten to the checkout page. Since paying via PayPal leads the customer away from your site (and the ThunderTix event they are buying), we are unable to add PayPal as a payment option during the checkout. If a customer left PayPal open for longer than the 10-minute timer, then paid using their PayPal account, the tickets would have been released from ThunderTix and they would end up with no final order.
At this time, we do not have any plans to add PayPal as an option.
As of July 2020, ThunderTix is no longer supporting PayPal Payments Pro.
