How do guardians, participants, and capacity work for class enrollments? - Fri - Oct 9, 2026 - 3:43pm
Guardian vs. participant:
- A parent enrolling two children creates two enrollments with the same guardian and two different participants.
- An adult enrolling themselves is both the guardian and the participant.
- Participants must belong to the guardian’s account, either as the guardian or as a dependent. Guardians can fill out a safety profile for themselves or the participant if required.
What each enrollment creates:
- One enrollment per participant.
- An order with tuition for each participant, plus any registration fee as a separate line.
- Once payment is complete, the enrollment becomes active and counts toward capacity.
Capacity rules:
- Class capacity: Active enrollments cannot exceed the class limit.
- Tier capacity: Each tier can have its own limit within the class.
- Per-patron limit: One guardian cannot exceed a tier’s per-patron limit.
- Checkout holds: A patron in checkout temporarily holds a space until the order is completed or canceled.
