Why aren't my customers seeing the https on my URL when they are in the purchasing process? - Wed - May 22, 2013 - 11:33am

When using an iframe to embed events into your own website, customers may not recognize the page is secure like when you go directly to your public URL on the ThunderTix URL. When going to your own URL, you can see the secure "https" and the appearance of a "lock" icon.
This is the same events listing that is embedded with your own site. If you are getting phone calls from concerned customers, you have a couple of options: When you receive a call, you can give the customer your direct link, so that they can see the "HTTPS" security and purchase directly.
You may also secure your own website by purchasing your own SSL certificate through the organization that hosts your website. They can purchase an SSL certificate and install it on your behalf protecting all pages. Since your ThunderTix events and buying process are already secure, adding your own SSL certificate does not create more security, but it can reduce customer concern and help them feel more confident in their purchases.
