Credit Card Swipe is not working unless I enter CVV code before swiping - Wed - Sep 23, 2015 - 2:26pm

It sounds like the CVV code is being required due to security settings in your payment gateway settings. Once you change these, you will be able to swipe the card without entering the CVV code first. Changing settings for an Authorize.net account:
- Login to your Account
- In the menu on the left side, under ACCOUNT, Click on Settings
- Under Security Settings Click on Card Code Verification you will want to allow the bottom three choices:
- P is NOT Processed
- S Should be on card, but is not indicated
- U Issuer is not certified or has not provided encryption key
- Click Save
