How do I change my payment gateway? - Mon - Feb 7, 2022 - 9:11am

  • If you elect to open an account with a different payment gateway than the one currently connected to your ThunderTix account, you can enter the new credentials into your Gateway tab to connect it at any time.

    To switch your payment gateway to a new one, please follow the steps below:
    1. Head to Account Settings, and click Gateway
    2. Select the new credit card processer from the drop-down menu 
    3. Enter the requested credentials 
    4. Select Add Gateway 

    When changing a payment gateway, transactions will immediately start processing in your new account. If you need to process a refund after the switch, remember that the credit card may have been processed through your old payment gateway, and for that reason, you will need to log in to that account and process the refund manually. You can mark the transaction as an external refund in ThunderTix.

    You can only test ticket purchase transactions on the  General Admission or  Reserved plan. If you are currently in Maintenance, you can test by purchasing a gift certificate or donation.
