Can I create an event now but have it display to my customers at a later date? - Tue - Nov 15, 2022 - 9:49am

When creating an event, you can set the activation date to the future sale date while keeping the event set to Public to hide it from your public customers until the sale date approaches.
In the event creation, under the Advanced Date Display Options tab, you'll see multiple settings for the event that determines if and when the event is on sale to your public customers. The first is the PUBLIC SALE DATE. This setting allows you to set an activation and expiration date for the event. If the activation date for the event is set to a future date, the event will not appear on your public ThunderTix URL until the activation date approaches, regardless of whether or not the event's PUBLIC ACCESS is set to Public.
The second setting is PUBLIC ACCESS TO YOUR EVENT. There are three settings for public access:- Public - your event is available to public purchasers via your ThunderTix URL
- Semi-private - the event is only accessible to customers via a specific event link
- Private - the event is only visible to logged-in users
If you would like to sell tickets to an event in the form of a protected pre-sale, refer to this discussion:
