How do I see the open rates and marketing analytics of my mass emails? - Wed - Feb 14, 2024 - 1:32pm

  • Mass emails can be sent from Events, the Patron Database, and Packages in ThunderTix. You will find the ways to view delivery statistics and marketing analytics on each of these below.

    To check the delivery status of any email or to check what the open rate is,

    Navigate to the Patron Database tab > Marketing Emails. *This is to see mass emails sent from the Patron Database > Search and Mass mail tab.

    Here you will be able to see how many times an email has been opened, the click rates and anyone who unsubscribes to your emails. You will also be able to view how many orders were generated by a campaign and the average revenue of those orders.

    To check the delivery statistics and marketing analytics for a mass email sent to attendees of a given event or performance date,

    Navigate to Events > Event Manager > click on the name of your event > choose Marketing in the top menu > Choose Mass Email in the left menu.

    Under Mass Email History, you will be able to view onen rates, clicks, bounces, and marketing analytics such as orders produced, total revenue earned, and average order revenue earned by the email campaign.


    To check the delivery statistics and marketing analytics for a mass email sent to those who purchased a package,

    Navigate to Events > Package Manager. Underneath the Mass Email column, click on the + icon.

    When you click on the plus sign icon, we will show Statistics and Marketing Analytics for any email you send via Package Manager.

    If you use ThunderTix to send mass emails to your customers, you'll need to ensure that you've upgraded to add Email branding to your account.

    In order to ensure that mass emails actually reach the Inbox of your customers (without being marked as spam), all mass emails need to be sent from your own company domain name. More about this upgrade can be read here:
